1015C - Walking Foot Quilting 1 - Beyond the Ditch

Skill Level: Beginner

Description: An introductory class in walking foot quilting. Learn how to finish your quilts on a domestic machine while enjoying all the control of your walking foot. We will start with a brief discussion of preparing your tops for quilting including marking and basting. Then we will make stitched samples of different styles including matchstick quilting, grids, combined stitches, serpentines and a basic spiral. Finish with a look at Catherine’s work to inspire you to go home and turn your tops into quilts.

Machines Provided by: Baby Lock & Moore's Sewing Center

Kit Contents: sewing machine threads, needles, safety pins and full color handout

All Kits Are Payable to the Teacher. They are not included when you register.
